Homemade Mint Chocolate Cake 🎂

It’s been a long time since I made a cake from scratch, but I gotta say it felt nice. I decided to make the mint chocolate cake because my mom would make this cake and we always loved it. She taught me how to make it like she did and it was a little confusing at first, but at the end everyone loved it 😊. Baking more and more is building up my confidence in baking again. Can’t wait to bake again for the potluck on July for the autism social group 😄.

Learned to make soup my mom’s way. We decided to make a Puerto Rican shrimp soup and I gotta say it was so yummy 😋 ! It’s really good with avocado on top 🥑. This has to be one of the best soups I’ve ever had. You guys should try this yourself if you all love Puerto Rican food 😊❤️. Puerto Rican food is part of my family culture.

Today was such a great day. I made another delicious dessert for the cooking and conversations event for the ASVC program. I gotta be honest, though it was a little stressful at first because originally I was gonna make churros for the first time, but while I was making them, it wasn’t turning out right. Like it would look cooked on the outside but on the inside, it was still raw. So my mom came up with an idea for another Mexican dessert that my family and I love eating sometimes. They’re called Mexican Buñuelos. Everyone loved them. They just love the desserts I make and bring for those events. My mother and .greene7605 took pictures for me. Thank you so much ! Also my mom helped me with cooking today. I’m grateful to have such wonderful people in my life 😊. I can’t wait for the next cooking event 😄 !
