It's "Welcome to our Home" Wednesday! This week we head over to Don & Jean's (AKA: my mom& dad's). Recently they upgraded their patio/breezeway with new LVP. This is the main walkway from the house to the garage so when it came to needing durability they chose Mohawk Solidtech Founder's Trace color Worn Gray. Not only does it perform in high traffic areas, its gorgeous 2 tone look goes perfect with the shiplap ceiling to bring out the character of their farmhouse. Since we don't change floors in our homes often, we look for the products we know will last & this is one! This sample is on display in the front of our store with the other samples of flooring you will find in our homes. Stop in to see if its the perfect flooring for your home.

Did you know today is our 36th Anniversary?

Classic Floor Covering opened on September 1, 1990 at 418 Edward Street in Henry just a couple doors down from our current location ( where the funeral home now resides)! Our store was 1/2 the size of our current & the samples were all full size with huge displays! We had to display them on hangers!! We had the wall of color that showcased all 30 colors of the Anything Goes top selling carpet Sensations! We showed up to your home in an extended van that somehow managed to haul all the tools we needed!
Things sure have changed....
Our store may be bigger & the van is now a truck/trailer but one thing remains the same., we are a family who cares about quality & our customers! Congratulations Mom & Dad on 36 years!

Hard to believe Labor Day is already here! We will be closed this Thursday, Sept, 3rd at 2:00 pm thru Monday, Sept., 7th. We will resume regular hours on Tuesday, Sept., 8th.

Happy almost September everyone! It's a gorgeous start to the last Friday in August & my "to do" list is looking like FALLLLLLL!!! When I see AG sale tags, cute boards like these coming into our handmade shop, I know it's time to start changing out windows & get ready for crisp, sweatshirt wearing, apple c***r drinking, GET NEW FLOORS kind of weather! If you are thinking about replacing carpet, then stop in to check out the AG carpet going on sale this MONDAY! Not a fan of carpet, no worries, we have TONS of hard surface too!! Check us out! "FREE" INSTALLATION! 2 words that drive me crazy. I'm always asked, do you do free installation.? I typically smile & say no but what I want to say is, THEY DON"T EITHER. Let's think about this... would anyone do a very labor intensive job like installing floors for FREE? Would a company who is there to make money just pay a person to do the job but not make it off the sale? Why is it only FREE if you buy certain Flooring or spend a certain amount? SImple It's NOT FREE. Its built in the price!

At CFC, we are honest! Yes we charge you for labor. Yes we give you a totaled installed price once you select flooring. Yes we know you want something affordable but durable. Yes we have our own installers, Yes we are COMPLETELY family owned/operated. YES-our FAMILY does all the installation/sales. YES we offer competitive pricing!

With all these yesses, why are you not stopping in to check us out before you buy? What can it hurt to stop in, talk to me, see what we have to offer & get that quote? When you're looking to buy a home do you buy the first one or look at a couple? Flooring should be no different. Alright, who's ready for our first "Classic Floor Covering, Welcome to Our Home" Series. If you saw the post yesterday you know we are giving you a glimpse of the flooring in our homes each Wednesday!

My husband & I recently replaced the carpet in our family room with Mohawk Revwood Rare Vintage color Fawn Chestnut. We chose to put in a hard surface because this room gets a lot of use & we wanted something that was easy to take care of.

Its waterproof & definitely gives the rustic, natural wood look without all the maintenance of real Hardwood!

Clean up is a breeze. I usually just sweep with broom or an occasional deeper clean with an approved laminate cleaner.

This product is currently available to order & on display at the front of our store. It is definitely one to take home & see how it looks. Depending on your lighting the color, sure can change!
