Look at this little guy. Isn’t he just adorable? They may be small, they may only cost a few bucks at the drug store, but hands down greeting cards are one of my favorite things to frame. Some people put value on the cost of the object they’re framing. Greeting cards often hold sentimental value and that’s why they are the perfect object to frame!

When your good friend stops by with a total nerd project, you gotta make it good. For you not nerd folk, this is a Sword of Truth map. After choosing a nice burl frame we realized it just wasn’t enough. After a brief brainstorm session, we decided to add a subtle embossed Sword of Truth emblem directly to the glass giving this frame job a +6 to coolness! 😎

So a couple years back I was chopping up over stock molding and creating some ready made frames. Then this happened. This is what happens when you have only enough of each color to build half a frame. Lucky for this client, I was crazy enough to build it and have it sitting around collecting dust. And lucky for her, she was crazy enough to buy it!

I’d like to say this simple black cap gallery frame made this quilt but that would be a lie. Yeah I finished the edge off rather nicely but honestly, this piece didn’t need much help.

School Street sign is finally finished! Fished out a few bucks for this Italian gold leaf frame, but I just had to have it. About 7 coats of varnish on all sides to help keep the weather out and custom cut on the band saw added a little extra time on the project. All well worth the effort. And look, it lights up! Pictures don’t do this sign justice.
