When asked how I can write & make designs in crochet, my go to answer is it’s magic, but actually I use patterns. I received a custom order a few weeks ago. He wanted a baby blanket with a ladybug on it. I found the ladybug. He liked it. I just needed colors from him. He said I was thinking flowers in the grass with a ladybug, a couple of bees, maybe an ant……
So I grabbed several patterns & went to work, not knowing how it would mesh together….
It’s got no ants, but I think it turned out amazing!
