I staged a townhome - my listing - and after my open house I discovered some missing items...small soap cubes I'd placed in a tray in the bathroom. A couple of weeks later I received this envelope with the soap and a letter of apology. Thank you to (I'm guessing) the Mother or Father who followed through on this much needed lesson...I was touched.

The Wassily Chair, also known as the Model B3 chair, was designed by Hungarian-born modernist architect and furniture designer Marcel Breuer between 1925-1926.

Breuer was inspired to create the chair while riding his bicycle – he envisioned taking the tubular steel used for the handlebars and bending it into pieces of furniture. Breuer took the traditional form of an overstuffed club chair and simplified it down until it was just an outline, with a canvas seat, back and arms.

The chair soon became known as the Wassily Chair, named after the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky – Breuer's friend and fellow Bauhaus instructor – who praised the design when it was first produced.

If you bought a home in 2025, don't forget Schedule D for tomorrow's April 15th tax submission!!

Your deductions may include:

1-Your purchase price, including commissions, abstract fees, charges for installing utility services, legal fees, recording fees, survey fees, and transfer taxes, increases your basis.

2-Prorated property taxes paid at closing, or any taxes you reimbursed the seller for, are deductible as itemized deductions.

3-If you paid points (loan origination fees) to buy your primary home, they are usually deductible in full in the year paid as itemized deductions, not on Schedule D.
