June 2020… we did a thing.

6 years ago this month, we finished building the Palmyra Greenhouse.

Looking back at these photos, I can still remember the long days, the planning, the problem solving, building in the rain, learning as we went… and all the little moments that brought this dream to life.

Building a greenhouse was one thing… we did it because we were bored during Covid quarantine. Building a business was not the plan. But here we are… a place where people come for flowers, gifts, celebrations, weddings, fundraisers, and a little bit of happiness - that has been the best part.

So much has changed since these photos:
✨ more flowers
✨ more friendships
✨ Rosie joined the family 🚚🌸
✨ countless bouquets made
✨ so many stories shared

But the heart of it is still the same.

🌸 Fundraiser Spotlight 🌸

We recently partnered with Palmyra Academy of Dance for their recital flower fundraiser, and together we raised $570 in just two weeks through pre-ordered wrapped bouquets!

Families had beautiful flowers waiting for their dancers, and the organization earned money without selling candy, coupons, or wrapping paper.

After years of people asking, Palmyra Greenhouse t-shirts are here!

These designs are a little bit floral, a little bit funny, and very much me. Whether you’re the type to buy yourself the flowers, believe one-of-a-kind is always best, or run almost exclusively on flowers and coffee, I’ve got you covered.

Available in limited quantities because, as it turns out, I run a flower business, not a clothing company. 😅

A little behind-the-scenes of Rosie. 🚚🌸

Five years ago, my mom and I sewed Rosie’s canopy from scratch. After countless flower truck pop-ups, sunny days, and adventures on the road, some of the zippers have finally decided they’ve had enough.

So this week, I’m replacing them all and giving the canopy a little refresh.

One thing I’ve learned about owning a small business: you don’t just wear one hat. Some days you’re a florist, some days you’re a marketer, and some days you’re sitting behind a sewing machine making repairs. It’s all part of keeping the wheels turning and the flowers flowing. 💐🧵

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💛

Rosie looks a little more intimidating in photos than she really is. 🌸🚚

She’s actually just a vintage flower truck filled with 20 buckets of fresh flowers, ready for you to pick through and create something beautiful.

Every stem is priced individually, typically ranging from $1 to $8 (when peony season is in full swing!), so you can build a bouquet that’s exactly what you want. Grab a handful of stems, fill your arms, or anything in between.

Not feeling creative today? No worries. I always have fresh, pre-made bouquets ready to grab and go.

You’ll also find a few fun extras on the truck, including flower-themed sunglasses, leather bracelets, hats, and of course, my children’s book.

So if you’ve been curious but weren’t quite sure how it works, now you know! Come find Rosie (almost) every weekend and see what all the fuss is about. 💐✨
