Palmyra Greenhouse Floral Design Studio We designed and built this greenhouse in our backyard during covid. It developed into a floral business and a flower truck.

Now THIS is how you celebrate turning Sweet 16!

Forget the typical birthday party! This Sweet 16 celebration at Stumpy’s Hatchet House in Hershey had a little bit of everything… axe throwing, a build-your-own bouquet flower bar, and permanent jewelry from Knock Knock!

I brought the flowers, the kids brought the creativity, and everyone had the chance to create their own one-of-a-kind bouquet to take home!

I absolutely love being part of fun celebrations like this! Who says flower bars are just for bridal showers and weddings?!

Looking for something fun and different for your next celebration? A flower bar might be just the thing!

A little more personality added to the studio!

Alex and I decided to tackle a little DIY project and hand-paint part of my new logo onto the screen doors!

Was it tedious? Yep. Did it take longer than expected? Of course! But I love how it turned out!

One of my favorite parts of this rebrand has been seeing all the little details come together. It’s slowly starting to feel like the floral design studio I’ve been envisioning!

And there’s something extra special about being able to say we did this one ourselves.

Exhausted. Blessed. And maybe just a little delirious!

What. A. Week.

This past week has been an absolute whirlwind! Three large floral events, countless buckets of flowers, thousands of stems, some very long days (and nights!), and today we wrapped things up with the Good Samaritan Benefit Gala for Londonderry Village.

I’m not even sure I’ve fully processed everything “we’ve” accomplished this past week.

Being a small business owner is a funny thing. You work so hard hoping for opportunities like these, and then suddenly you’re in the middle of them, wondering when you’re going to find time to sleep.

But I wouldn’t trade it.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, the people who trust me with their events, and the chance to keep doing what I love.

I’m exhausted, my feet hurt, and my studio looks like a flower tornado came through it.

But my heart is full!

Here’s a little peek at today’s beautiful gala!

It’s the little things…

At my Studio Reveal last weekend, I had a table where guests could leave me a little note.

I’ve read every single one of them. Some made me laugh, some made me smile, and a few made me tear up.

When you’re a small business owner, you spend so much time wondering if you’re doing enough, making the right decisions, or if anyone even notices all the work you’re putting in… then you get a few little handwritten notes like these.

I don’t think the people who wrote them realize just how much they mean to me.

So thank you. For the kind words, the encouragement, the support, and for being part of this little flower business of mine.

I’m keeping every single one of them!

Look what came out today!!

Palmyra Greenhouse Floral Design Studio made the Hummelstown Sun!

I’m still riding the high from Saturday’s Studio Reveal, and seeing my little business in the newspaper is just icing on the cake!

A huge thank you to The Sun for taking an interest in my story and helping me share this exciting new chapter.

It’s been a whirlwind of a week, and I’m soaking up every bit of it!

Yes, it’s 8:30 PM. And yes, that’s a FULL cup of coffee!

This is what happens when you own a small business and somehow schedule multiple events in one day!

The flowers aren’t going to arrange themselves, and sleep is apparently optional tonight.

It’s gonna be a looooong night, so cheers to espresso and questionable life choices!

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… because Rosie and I have been hanging out at the Hershey antique car show!

Honestly, it’s one of my favorite places to bring her. Not only does Rosie get LOTS of attention from fellow antique car lovers, but it’s also the perfect place to share her story… literally!

In case you forgot (or maybe didn’t know!)… yep, I wrote a children’s book!

Rosie & Friends: Adventures of a Flower Truck tells the story of an old, forgotten truck who gets a second chance, a new name and a whole new purpose. Sound familiar? 😉

It’s been so much fun selling books this week to people who love old cars and trucks just as much as we do.

And since Christmas will be here before we know it, here’s your little reminder: Rosie’s book makes a pretty fun gift for the kiddos in your life.

So yes, I’ve been quiet… but Rosie and I have been busy.
