WHY WE DON’T RECOMMEND GETTING MARRIED ON FEBRUARY 14
February 14 may sound like the perfect date for a wedding. It’s Valentine’s Day, romance is everywhere, and flowers seem like the perfect match.
But there’s something many couples don’t realize:
For flower shops, Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest and most demanding days of the entire year.
Florists are working at full capacity preparing hundreds of roses, arrangements, deliveries, and last-minute orders. Certain flowers may have limited availability, wholesale prices can be higher, and producing all the floral designs required for a wedding becomes much more challenging.
That’s why many florists prefer not to accept weddings on February 14, or require them to be planned far in advance.
Our recommendation?
If you can choose another date, do it.
You’ll have more flower options, better availability, and more time for your florist to focus on every detail of your wedding.
And there’s another advantage you’ll appreciate for years:
Valentine’s Day can be one celebration… and your wedding anniversary can be another.
