3 things I always check on site:

1. Proportions & Scale
This is what makes a space feel right. Even if every piece is beautiful on its own, if the sizing or spacing is off, the whole room feels unbalanced. I always walk the space to make sure everything relates properly: ceiling height, furniture size, and how each element interacts with the next.

2. Materials & Finishes
Samples can be deceiving. What looks perfect in a showroom can read completely different once it’s installed and surrounded by other elements. I check tones, textures, and how materials work together in real lighting to make sure everything feels cohesive and intentional.

3. Natural Lighting
Natural light changes everything. It affects color, mood, and how the entire design is experienced throughout the day. I always observe how light moves through the space to ensure it enhances the materials, layout, and overall atmosphere.
