What better way to enjoy a rainy Sunday morning than with a coffee, espresso scone (made by yours truly) and some Pioneer Woman. Whew! What a busy and blessed week! Two business lunches plus lots of peeps grabbing lunch in the shop, five dozen cupcakes for a birthday, lots of scones, mini cakes, monster cookies and pricing some new treasures in between the oven timers! Thank goodness for multi-tasking skills developed working 25 years at the newspaper!
Thanks to all my supporters and repeat customers, and I appreciate all of the comments. It warms my heart when a customer rushes in because they see I have espresso scones or made chicken bacon ranch paninis! I try to provide good wholesome fresh food with lots of options that won’t break the bank, fresh fruit and veggies and something for your sweet tooth or need for a caffeine fix!
As we get into summer, I am working on another addition hopefully coming soon and plans for an America Birthday cookout lunch again! 250 years!!
Thanks to all my vendors (10 at last count) and especially Cheryl who helps watch the shop an afternoon a week so I can be a librarian, our resident sewing lady Sharon who helps fix things or goes along with some of our ideas, and to Cheri, who spends lots of time at the shop with me, helping out, doing dishes, sorting treasures together, and giving advice that I eventually might take but sometimes pretend it’s my own idea! 😉
Thanks again everyone for the past 2 years and a special thanks to my kids who sometimes find themselves helping out, and to my sous chef - my hubby Jeff - who always supports me and sometimes cooks alongside me when he isn’t working. ❤️
Happy Sunday everyone!
