After watching too many design shows and spending too much money to create a flow between her family room, dining room, sunroom and kitchen, a single High Point, NC mother was still unhappy with her results and called me to rescue her from wasting time and money. Painting her foyer, family room, dining room and kitchen was her next step but my CHID design plan was to only paint the dining room that saved her time and money. After rearranging furniture, selecting tile back splash, quartz countertops, carpet and hardwoods her large open concept area had a more cohesive look. When a young professional couple moved into their first home in Winston-Salem, NC one of their parents gave them a large amount of older furniture that was in really good shape but with ugly, outdated fabrics. They needed help with how to update their furniture, blend it with existing furniture, hang a gallery of photos, select paint colors and area rugs, update their master bath and more. The furniture went from antique flowers and stripes to “wow” tweeds,paisley, linens and animal prints! I space planned the entire house and made suggestions for future updates when their budget would allow. A few years later after the birth of their beautiful son, I helped them with his nursery.

My team of professionals updated wall colors and ligting, converted a parlor to a home office, created an exercise room by moving all equipment to a little used room, rearranged and reused furniture, updated master bath and more. When Kernnersville, NC yogurt shop owner needed to relocate and update, I changed his yogurt shop image from 1980s to the 21st century! The old shop had white tile floors that were beyond repair, blonde oak table and chairs and a long list of outdated features. I created a casual French Bistro style yogurt shop where his customers know they are appreciated, can relax and have more room to eat yummy yogurt. The shop went from dull to high end! I used custom patterned tile floors, marble accents on the yogurt bar, morano glass light pendnts, wood and iron bistro table and chairs, tile floor and walls in restrooms, gray trim and gold walls with hip black ceilings. His investment was a big hit with his customers and his business profits increased too!

One of my clients purchased a new townhome and needed help with options in the design center. I helped her select cabinets, tile, flooring, countertops, lighting and upgrades. She used my suggestions for wall paint color and our trusted painters. Using all her furnishings, wall art and window treatments, I space planned her townhome. After several years of living in her townhome she still thinks hiring me was the best money she had ever spent.
