General information
I was raised by a very holistic mother, who made sure that my brother and I took our vitamins every morning and didn't take any medication unless it was completely necessary. She always had her "Prescription for Natural Healing" book readily available to find the best homeopathic remedies to fit our needs at the time, no matter the ailment. As you can imagine that left quite an impression on our lives, which I believe is what lead me to be so interested in keep up with the tradition. I guess this is yet another thing to be grateful to her for. I started making my own "Bug Repelling" Candles and Sprays about 5 years ago to bring up to and use at camp since other store-bought candles and sprays didn't seem to have the effectiveness that I wanted or needed. After the first time making and using my Homemade products, I realized that the benefits far outnumbered what I had thought originally. I not only was able to control the amount of bug deterring ingredients that went into the candles and sprays, but I was able to control the quality also. My candles work as a bug repellent all while looking and smelling nice. My sprays provide protection also, but don't leave you feeling greasy or covered in DEET which is a brand of diethyltoluamide, a colorless oily liquid with a mild odor, used as an insect repellent and used in most of the store-bought bug repellents. Self-learning and gaining experience year after year, has shown me how worth the little bit of extra effort to be all natural is worth it. Since then I have bought book after book and read article after article studying various ways to use the natural resources that God put on this Earth. I am happy to say that I finally feel that I can provide quality products with you and your family.
