Fresh find, this wonderful blanket chest in original brown paint, entirely handmade, with early dovetailing and moldings. There is a til box inside. The woman I purchased this from was a spinner and weaver, and it was filled with flax, wool and homespun. Such history. $245.
The wool basket is beautifully made and signed on the handle. This is large and in great condition with such detail. 19th century. One of a kind. $225.

She was an amazing woman. I had the pleasure of meeting her and many of the people in her book. We talked about cooking on an open hearth. If you can, buy this book, it is filled with such precious stories from our dear Tasha.
