Plan ahead for a fall Sunday Drive. Come see me at the Fall Festival for Hopewood Pines, formerly Lutheran Memorial Camp. October 11th!

The 2026 Fall Festival will have all your favorite apple butter goodies and adds the Oktoberfest vibes of pumpkin patch, inflatable bounce activities, food trucks, live music, and a local b**r tent! There will be activities for every age to enjoy. Take a hayride through camp property and try fresh apple butter made on site. When you get hungry, taste the homemade bean soup cooked over the fire, fresh baked goods, and a variety of food truck offerings. Hang around for some music while the kids play in the children’s area.

For our 50th celebration, we are featuring partnerships with ODNR, 4H Morrow County Extension with OSU, and ELCA Truth and Healing Movement. You'll experience new things like an Archery trailer, Gravity fed basketball, and a presentation called A day of Remembrance: An untold story of Native American boarding schools from 1-3pm.

There is no need to register; food and activities are set at a reasonable price. Your support of this festival will help us provide camperships at HopeWood Pines. We hope to see you there!

I got some requests for Fall Themed Sign Kits. Which ones do you like? Like the image or leave a comment. (And message me if you'd like to order!)

The DIY Sign kits are approximately 11" in diameter. I do provide a plywood backer or you could replace it with a nicer/heavier board if you like. Most importantly, you get all the laser cut pieces and suggestions for how to put things together. You provide the paint or markers, glue, and hanging elements. $15-$20 per kit... but I'll do a $3 disctount for those that respond to this post.

about this time tomorrow I’ll be starting the setup process for Seasons, Harvest and Christmas on the Farm . Putting some finishing touches on products to be ready to sell. Hope to see you there Friday or Saturday.
