✨🦄Amalthea🦄✨

Meet my Rose City Yarn Crawl show colorway, exclusively available at on Friday 3/6!

Amalthea is a dreamy, cool toned variegated colorway with lilacs, foggy greens and moody blues, and just a hint of champagne yellow peeking through.

As you may guess, it’s based on The Last Unicorn! I was so excited to learn about the theme for this year, I feel that my aesthetic just SCREAMS unicorns normally, but I wanted a moodier cool-toned colorway after so many pinks last year. (Which I am of course bringing with me anyways 💖🩷)

Confession time: I’ve never actually seen the movie all the way through, but I studied the concept art and visual language of the film when I was in animation school! I’ve always loved how dreamy and ethereal it feels, and I tried to capture that in this colorway.

I’ve been away from social media working on something behind the scenes for months now. ;)

Surprise! A new addition to our family is coming this June! 🩵🩵

I’ve been wanting to announce for a bit now, but wow I had just been exhausted since I found out (also pregnancy brain doesn’t help lol) but we are so excited and thrilled to welcome our baby bub in just a few short months!

Naturally, I’ll be taking a hiatus from Little Wing Fibers come June, but until then I will be trunk showing for RCYC next Friday and will be having a “help me clear out inventory to make room for baby” sale next month!

My plan is to ease back into dyeing yarn in the fall and have some new offerings for you all!

Happy release day to the Petra Scarf!!

I was delighted to test knit this cozy and incredible squishy scarf for .morning.knits 💖

This was such a speedy knit, and it’s the perfect stash buster! Mine is worked up in a worsted weight and I used up one skein. I’m looking forward to wearing it in the chilly weather!

I have lots of Flock leftovers to list, and I’ll be adding everything to the shop on Wednesday at noon PST! Head over to my stories for specifics on which colorways are available!

I have sweater quantities available in all bases depending on what colorways you had your eye on, so make sure to mark your calendars and come browse!

As a reminder, the bases I had with me at Flock are LW Fi*****ng, Featherlight DK, Tweed DK, Cumulous Suri, and my new yak base LW Shadow Sock.

The only colorways I will not be listing are any of the Stardew colors I brought with me, because I will be bringing them back for pre-order in October! Stay tuned for that announcement 🫶🌱

This was my second time vending and I am filled with so much gratitude.

To everyone who came through our booth and had nothing but kind words and excitement over my color palettes and our collab colorway and notions, thank you so much. Your kind words mean so so much and it fills my cup every year to hear such positive feedback about my art.

And to my incredibly booth buddy .art I can’t even begin to put into words how grateful I am for your trust, encouragement, and friendship! 💖💖 Thanks for helping me take breaks, gush about my yarn just as much as I gushed about your art, and tbh helped me keep my head on straight while the chaos unfolded! This collab was so much fun and I can’t wait to continue working together. :)

Flock Lineup PT. 3 ✨

These 7 colorways are returning to this weekend!

Left to right: Fiery🔥, Nori 🍙, Matcha Latte 🍵, Cherry Blossom Season 🌸, Save the Day 💫, Twilight Afterglow 🌅, and Dusk 🌚.

They’ll be available in LW Fi*****ng and Featherlight DK, and select colors from this lineup will also be available in Tweed DK, Cumulous Suri, and my new LW Shadow Sock base!

These particular colorways have become part of my go-to core collection from the LWF archives, and they tend to come with me to in-person shows! These seven will round out our offerings at Flock this year. :)

I tend to rotate these classic colorways and they likely will not be making a comeback for a little while after this, so get them while you can!

Flock colorways pt. 1: STARDEW 🌱

Making their in-person debut (and for the tonals, their full skein debut) are 6 colorways from my Making Friends Stardew Valley-inspired clubs!

The fun announcement is that the full Stardew collection will be opening for preorder this October, but I wanted to bring a little slice of it to 🫶

In addition to these colorways, I’ll also have a limited amount of tonal mini sets! These will have 12 skeins each, making them perfect for colorwork, scrappy, and advent patterns!
