I will be at Kinmundy Log Cabin Village this weekend, the 6th and 7th, spinning in one of the cabins. Come join us. I will have some turned wooden items as well as some hand spun yarn and crocheted items.

I will be a vendor here. It's a lovely venue with lots of vendors, food and log cabins. I will have lots of yarn and bowls! Hope to see you there.

This weekend and next weekend!
Bring the family and plan on spending the day with us shopping vendors, eating good, learning about history, making memories, traditions and enjoy demonstrations.
*all proceeds from the fall festival go towards the upkeep and repairs on the grounds and cabins. Plus 3 memorial scholarships giving to local highschool.

I have a new listing in my Etsy store. It's for a pair of tea light lanterns. I turned the bases out of some wood we found on our property. I think they turned out pretty neat.

Although I love the look of natural wood, I thought I'd try my luck at dyeing. This bowl is made from Tulip, which in my opinion, has some boring grain. Not all tulip is like this. I think the dye gives it a look of velvet.
