A lot of people have asked how our H.J. Gelzer & Sons Club works, so here’s the plain-English version:

You join a Club card for $1, then pay $2 per week for 39 weeks. Every week, one name is drawn.

If your name is drawn, you receive $79 in merchandise credit at H.J. Gelzer & Sons — and once your card wins, you’re done paying on that card. If your card never gets drawn, you still end up with the full $79 in savings to use in our store.

It’s a painless way to set money aside for the things you already know are coming:

Christmas gifts.
Birthdays.
Special occasions.
Furniture purchases.
Housewares.
Decor.

Or just keeping a little store credit ready for when you find something you love.

You can have more than one card for more chances to win, and you can join more than one Club if you want to build your savings faster. It is simple, affordable, and honestly a pretty fun old-school way to save.
