I'm here at Dixie Delight Country Store until 4 pm, so bring in those pants that need a hem!

¡Feliz Día de los Mu***os!

I've never been much for celebrating Halloween, especially the American take on this day, but I do highly appreciate Día de los Mu***os. Over the next couple of days, we remember our loved ones who have passed by celebrating their lives.

Have a happy and safe weekend!

Good morning!

I've had a super busy start to my Friday so far. I've done laundry, the weekly grocery run, unloaded/loaded the dishwasher and loaded more fruit into the dehydrator.

I'm done now, right? 😆 I could use a nap with my feline overlords.

Have a fabulous day!

As a long time Star Trek fan, I am _not_ ok. He was an amazing actor and person.

😭

Thought of the Day... If you tell a joke and the person(s) you're telling it to don't laugh, it was not a joke.

I give such a person a flat look and a raised eyebrow, no other reaction at all.

When faced with a challenge, you adapt.

If you look closely, you'll see the feral feline velociraptors waiting to cause more chaos this morning by pulling the fabric off of my ironing board, but not today! (They happen to love that particular corner near the heat vent.)

I took my life in my own hands by ironing with my left hand instead.

I am _not_ left handed at all so this was a dangerous move for my right hand!

All of my digits survived unscathed and the chaos demons are now asleep on the couch.

Have a fabulous... and safe... day! 😆

While working on my first set of paintings, I had an idea, which led to even more painting. Now, I'm almost to the 3/4 mark of seeing this idea to completion.

What am I up to now??!! You'll have to watch one more reel to find out. 😁

UPDATE! I had my date wrong for the Mt Zion event.

All fixed now! :)
