Not only do we grow vegetables to eat, but we also grow different medicines for trade. This calendula has been nurtured and cared for since it was a seed in February. It can be utilized in teas, salves or oils.

We’re set up here today at the Akwesasne Farmers Market located at Generations Park pavilion 10am- 2pm
If you looking for fresh produce for your meal prep or beautiful flowers for your center piece stop on down. Better hurry because it’s already going fast.

Today we have
-Butter Lettuce Heads-$3
-Kale- 4 stems for $2
-Cilantro Stems- $1
-Chives-$1 a bundle

We finally did it!!

Over 1,000 plants and flowers planted this year.💐🌺🌻🌼🪻

We are extremely proud of our dedication and commitment towards our garden. The countless hours in the cold rain or hot sun has given us the ability to learn and grow along with our plants and flowers. Some call us crazy be we call ourselves happy.

We both look forward to feeding the community the very best produce found right here locally in Akwesane. No pesticides or harsh chemicals. Just pure local vegetables 🥕🥦🥬🧅🥒

🌾We will be set us this Saturday July 11th 10-2pm at the Akwesasne Farmers Market
Produce: Butter Lettuce, Purple Kale, Dinosaur 🦕 Kale, Cilantro, Chives, Kholrabi, and possibly Cauliflower.
Flowers: Zinnias, Calendulas and Snaptinis(Mini SnapDragons)

Nothing like a freshly picked salad after a sunny, hot day of planting! We are well over 1,000 plants/seeds planted and still going!

Tonight’s salad featured fresh butter lettuce, purple kale,swiss chard, & chives dressed with olive oil and a raspberry balsamic vinegar, with local grilled chicken, fresh strawberries, cucs, feta and pumpkin seeds! The ultimate summer salad 🤤🥬🍓🥒

Our lettuce and kale make for the perfect meal prep for your week ahead. Just send us a message and we will pick it fresh to order!

Here at Kahétakon we thrive on our hard work and dedication towards giving the very best towards our plants and flowers.
