I had big plans to keep going with the rest of the tints, tones, and shades, but y'all, this 100 Day Project has me tired!
It's a lot of work to come up with the color blends--they take more formula adjusting than you might think--then actually weigh and blend each sample, spin it, and record my thoughts. (Photography and setting up posts is a whole separate task!)
Anyways, I have the rest of the blends prepared. From right to left: the main blend we just saw, tints (mixed with white), tones (mixed with gray), mixed with beige, mixed with brown, and shades (mixed with black).
As much as I love purple, this set of colors has been the least exciting. I think it's in part because we finally got to gray in some of the main blends. And also, I'm ready for a break.
I'll still spin the rest of the blends on my own time and maybe share them in a bit. I also want to think through some of the many color lessons I've learned that go beyond just making blends. But for now I'm saying goodbye to the 100 Day Project, and planning the next thing. Maybe Tour de Fleece?
