I got a call from a friend asking if I knew who Totoro was. Little did she know, my brother introduced our family to My Neighbor Totoro in the original Japanese years ago!! I remember sitting on the couch watching it while he interpreted the movie for us. I think I was in elementary school?

Then she asked if I could make a Totoro as a birthday present for her daughter who was obsessed with the show.

Challenge accepted!!

To all the scam artists who keep placing orders on this page.

Quit wasting my time. I’m not giving you my email address. I gave you my direct link. Venmo does not require an email address to process payment. If you give me that line I’m just blocking and reporting you.



Does anyone else have this problem? Unless it’s someone I know personally, every single message I get is from a scam artist trying to access my Venmo account. They ALL say they are using a business account and can’t process payment without my email address. Some have even gone so far as to fake screen shots saying they need my information. All different profiles, pictures, and accounts, but all magically need my personal information to be able to pay me.

Just give it up already!!! 😡

Another happy customer!

This is the most intricate blanket I have ever done! I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook to keep the stitches nice and tight. The finished product feels more like it’s made from textured felt than individual stitches. It’s made with Caron Cloud Cakes from Michaels Stores.

This project took me the better part of 6-8 months the to complete! (Thus the radio silence). It is my own adaptation of the Study of Texture afghan from The Crochet Crowd. I’ll attach the original pattern below.

This labor of love has been in the works for 4 months!!! After countless hours and 2,600 yards of yarn, it is finally finished.

Made with Yarn Bee’s authentic hand dyed wool from Hobby Lobby. The color is Hibiscus Palm. I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook to keep the stitching dense for added warmth.
