Farmhouse update! The old Frankenstein bathroom is no more! We ripped it all out over the last two weekends - old chimney & 2 faux ceilings. We just put the living room ceiling in after adding over 230 blocks to level the ceiling. Lights & ceiling fan are finally in! We've started leveling the old 1872 walls and are ripping out the floors to the basement floor joists. Lots of labor but the room is going to be amazing!! We're adding a fireplace & entertainment center soon!! So excited to see the house become what we envisioned.

Farmhouse progress update: this old bathroom is finally coming out! These pics are after removal of 2 + layers of drywall, lathe & plaster, old chimney, false ceilings, squirrel p**p, walnuts and today toilet is coming out. Such a mess. Check out those old wood walls - note a wire in the wet wall of the shower in a cast iron tub! Progress has to get messy before we can start putting it back together. This space will become an additional 72 sq ft of our living room. So exciting when walls come down!
