"I want to be like a sunflower, so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight." A close friend and her family recently suffered a great loss... knowing there was nothing I could do to ease the pain of loss I still needed to do something. So I did what I do best and created. In loving memory of Sis. I did not have the honor of truly knowing you but you've left a huge mark on those who loved you and I only hope this memorial piece brings some beauty and joy to the those you've left behind. The image used for this piece I cannot take credit for. A friend of the family edited this photo for them. Please tag the artist if you know who it was as I do not.

As sad as it makes me to inform you all,I will not be attending this year's fallen timber art festival. Unfortunately my daughter fell ill and we will not be attending as her health and of course all of yours is more important.
