(Other than a recent slow dance in the kitchen when George Strait's "I Just Want To Dance With You" came on), we have not been leisurely dancing in random alleyways!

Us lately = Jordan working to prepare fields for crops when he's not actively working onsite or in the office; Lindsey driving kiddos to practices during and/or immediately after the workday!! We've been catching up on life at track meets and lacrosse games and eating dinner after 8 or 9pm. It has been a lively spring that has brought so much joy! Anyone else in the same life stage?!

When thinking about how a space should flow, every detail matters. Finishes, colors, and hardware all bring the personality and beauty to a space, but just as important is how it all functions day to day.

Take a kitchen, for example: those aesthetic choices are the fun part (and we LOVE the aesthetics!), but a big impact comes from how the space functions day to day. Things like sink placement in relation to the dishwasher, prep zones, and clear movement paths are what make a kitchen truly work for you and your family.

That’s what we’re thinking about from the start.

This breakfast nook cabinetry got a beautiful facelift. By removing the bulky upper cabinets and appliance garages and replacing them with open shelving that lets the light flow through. The result feels lighter & brighter which still offering great storage!

Instead of handing off plans and hoping for the best (sometimes scary!), the same team that dreams it up is the one that builds it. Hi everyone! We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We’re Lindsey and Jordan, the owners of White Pine Design, a West Michigan design + build company focused on creating spaces that feel both functional and personal to each client.

We specialize in remodels, custom homes, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and full-home transformations. Our team works closely with homeowners from the design phase all the way through construction, helping make the process organized, collaborative, and enjoyable. We’re passionate about natural materials, intentional design, and quality craftsmanship, and we love helping clients bring their vision to life.
