A few bibs, a pair of slippers… and then you start thinking, “Maybe I could sew the outfit, too.” I’d love for this little pumpkin romper to be your next project. 🎃

The ruffles and straps might be new to you, but you don’t have to figure everything out just by looking at the finished piece. I’ve broken the construction down into detailed, step-by-step photo instructions, so you can focus on one part at a time instead of trying to understand the whole garment at once.

And that final bow? I hope tying it feels like a little celebration of everything you’ve learned along the way. 🧵

Tiny booties shouldn’t be a struggle to put on. 🤍

These baby booties open wide to make room for little feet—a small detail you’ll appreciate when dressing a wiggly baby!

Choose your favorite fabric and sew a pair to match a little outfit or give as a thoughtful handmade gift. Change the print, and the same pattern becomes a whole new pair. 🧵💕

One day these tiny booties will be too small, but you’ll still remember making them for baby’s first Halloween. 🎃🧡

I sewed this pair to match the pumpkin bloomers—a little handmade outfit worth keeping after October is over.

Choose your favorite cotton print and make your own pair for a first holiday, a baby shower gift, or everyday wear. The fabric changes, and the same pattern becomes something new. 🧵

I can’t decide which way I like these more—with the cuffs up or folded down. I keep switching between the two. ❄️

I wanted a warmer option for little feet, with room to slip them on easily and ties to adjust the fit. You can add polyester or wool batting for extra warmth, too. Now I’m imagining a pair to match every little winter outfit. There goes my sewing list again. 🧵

My Cozy Baby Shoes PDF sewing pattern includes detailed, step-by-step photo instructions, so you don’t have to figure out the construction from a quick Reel. You can look through the steps before cutting and work at your own pace.

That folder of “things I want to sew” fills up quickly, doesn’t it? Sometimes you’ve even picked the fabric in your head—but the project stays saved because you’re not quite sure where to begin.

I don’t want you to have to guess what happens between the quick clips in my videos. My Baby Booties PDF sewing pattern includes detailed, step-by-step photo instructions, and there’s a full tutorial on my Vasenia YouTube channel when you’d rather watch me demonstrate.

You can read through the steps before cutting your fabric, pause whenever you need to, and take it one little seam at a time. I’d love to see your version—not just another pair I’ve sewn. 🧵

The pattern includes sizes 0–24 months and is available to purchase on my website and Etsy. Comment BOOTIES and I’ll send you the link to my pattern shop.

I wanted to sew something a little warmer for tiny feet this winter. But with that fluffy lining, I’m starting to wish I had a pair in my own size. ❄️

You can leave the cuffs up to cover more of those little ankles or fold them down. The shoes slip on easily, and the ties let you adjust the fit. You can also add polyester or wool batting for extra warmth.

I’ve included detailed, step-by-step photo instructions in my Cozy Baby Shoes PDF sewing pattern, so you can see how the pieces come together and work through each stage at your own pace. I’d love to see your version of these little winter shoes. 🧵

Do you know that feeling when you really want to sew something, but you just can’t bring yourself to start? 🧵

You bought some beautiful fabric, picked out a project, got your sewing machine ready… and then the doubts start creeping in. What if I cut the fabric wrong? What if I can’t figure out how the pieces go together? And worst of all, what if I ruin that fabric I loved so much?

I think one of the hardest parts of learning to sew isn’t actually the sewing. It’s not knowing whether you’re doing things right. Especially when a tutorial skips over some tiny step that seems obvious to someone with more experience.

That’s something I always keep in mind when I design my patterns. I don’t want to just give you pieces to cut out. I want to show you the whole process with photos, so you can take your time and figure things out at your own pace.

This little petal bib is one of three styles included in my new Baby Bib PDF sewing pattern. I’d love for you to feel confident enough to give your first one a try. And if you have to undo a seam and try again? That’s part of learning, too.

If you’d like to give it a try, you can find the pattern on my website and Etsy. Just comment BIB, and I’ll send you the link.

Do you remember what scared you the most when you first started sewing? Or is there something that still holds you back?

With winter coming, I wanted to create a warmer style of baby shoes — and that’s how Cozy Baby Shoes came to life! 🧵

You can add polyester batting or wool batting for extra warmth. The cuffs can be worn up to cover more of your baby’s ankles or folded down for a different look. I love both options!

I designed these little shoes to be easy to slip on, while the ties let you adjust the fit and keep them securely in place.

As always, my PDF sewing pattern includes detailed, step-by-step photo instructions, so you can take your time and follow along at your own pace.
