1909 coles shaker. Completed another restoration of a customer supplied coles shaker. Customers client wanted gloss black with guilded accents.
This particular machine had an uncommon cla.p bar which although old, was not original. Ot also had very incorrect items for the glasses. Started by disassembling the machine which proved to be more challenging than others. Once disassembled it was cleaned, bruahed, and blasted. Then it went off for epoxy primer and gloss eurathane top coat. I had various parts nickel chromed, new brass glass lids metal spun, and the clamp for the glasses recast from an original.
During assembly extra play was noticed in the spike dle so I o erbored it and added dry running bushings. I masked various parts and wither sprayed or hand painted the gold details. Grease and piled and off to the races.
These are becoming exceedingly rare and when one becomes available, it exhibits a commanding price to own. Ive beennluck to own several and even luckier to have people trust me with their relics.
Thanks to those whose professional service helped me bring this back to life.
