✨ Hi friends! I’d love to introduce myself. ✨
My name is Ashley.
I’m a blood-bought child of God, a wife of 24 years, and a mama to three of the best — Anna, Katie, and Turner.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved creating and repurposing things. I’m drawn to anything unique, vintage, and full of character.
For years I wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine but never could quite figure it out. That all changed about seven months ago when I started working at Shriners Children’s Hospital in the Orthotics and Prosthetics department.
I quickly realized sewing was going to be part of the job! There were honestly moments when I thought I might have to quit because I just couldn’t get the hang of it. But with the help of my coworkers — and a lot of determination — it finally clicked.
About a month later, a sweet little girl whom I love dearly was turning one and having a Silly Goose themed birthday.
I knew I had to make her a goose…
well… I ended up making two. 🪿
That’s really where all of this began.
From there I started creating things with a borrowed sewing machine, and the rest is history.
🧵 A little about my creations:
• About 90% of what you’ll see in my booth is made from thrifted or repurposed fabric.
• Because of that, if you see something you love — grab it! There may never be another exactly like it.
• No two items will ever be exactly the same.
As I like to say:
They’re sisters, not twins… cousins, not siblings. 😊
And just to be clear… my prices will not reflect the amount of time it took me to learn patterns, stitch lengths, and tension — or how many bad words I may have wanted to say while learning them.
Because let’s be honest…
Nobody is paying $75,000 for a pair of chicken mitts, no matter how cute they are. 🤣
Right now it’s just me, my new-to-me 1950s sewing machine, and my beloved seam ripper taking on the world — one stitch at a time. Hopeful to stitch some smiles for your home!
Thank you for supporting handmade and small businesses. ❤️
