Please join me for my first solo art exhibition “Imaginal Discs” at .cafe Saturday January 10th. The opening reception is on 1/10 from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
“Imaginal Discs” is my creative journey and transformative process taking the everyday aluminum can and reimagining the material into kinetic art. Through the slow process of collecting cans, deconstructing, cleaning, flattening and punching each disc by hand I am inspired by the colors and patterns I find. Each piece of art celebrates movement, reflection and natural beauty rather than contribute to environmental waste.
