This beautiful sassy girl started 8th grade this year. I just know these last 5 years will fly by. I am excited to see where life takes her, She has big plans and determination to see them through.

You know when you hear people talk about not squashing the strong willed child because they will be future leaders, yeah that can be really hard to parent 😉. She is very strong willed but also compassionate and so caring, she is such an amazing person.

I am going to jump on the senior Sunday posts while I can. This stunning young lady knows what she wants in life and Weston and I are doing our best to help her achieve it.

At the end of her sophomore year we decided that the conventional high school path wasn’t for her, she is skipping junior year and will finish senior year before the end of the year! She is also enrolled as a part time student at college, taking flight lessons for her pilot’s license and still has her job. We are so proud of her and everything she is accomplishing.

Last of the knife holders, this one I felt like the beautiful blade needed to be the star of the piece. This is featuring cherry and padauk wood. The wavy stripe is wood not painted so it required bending some padauk.

At the beginning of the year I was commissioned to make 3 knife display stands with a special request for a place to put the sheath. The customer and I thought this black handled beauty needed a pop of color. I hope they compliment each other instead of fighting for center stage but the display should be as much show piece as the knife right?

Purple Heart, Zebrawood, and black walnut are the beautiful woods in this creation.
