The focal point of every gourmet kitchen- the cook center. While small in scale this area has everything needed to create a great home cooked meal. 6 burner range top with pro exhaust hood, double stacked drawers within drawers and tall multi-tiered side pullouts making easy reach of pots and pans, utensils, spices and more neatly tucked away. The full height and wide stone backsplash provides a nice easy to keep clean and unobstructed backdrop, perfect for the wok toss, flipping flapjacks or flambés 🔥🔥

We just finished up this custom made built-in entertainment center. We incorporated inset doors and panels, lightly distressed oak tops, a flip up bench seat for additional storage, flush mount desktop outlets with usb ports, recessed accent lights over the television and picked up and carried through shiplap paneling and custom trim package to match with the existing millwork in the home.
Our goal is to make our built-ins look original to the house and by picking up continuing those small architectural details is what makes our cabinet feel and look like they belong.

Nice little spot to catch some shade and rinse off the sand after a hot day at the beach. We constructed this outdoor shower from solid mahogany and incorporated a removable shower system panel for easy storing and winterization purposes to eliminate those pesky broken valves we’ve all experienced here in New England upon returning to our summer homes.

A recent home visit to discuss a bespoke furniture commission lent the opportunity to see this built-in bookcase we built this past winter. Everything was built with intent. From what would be placed on what shelves and behind each door down to the custom made base profile and crown trim to match the existing 100 yr old millwork. One of the best parts of designing and/or building custom cabinetry and furniture is to see it being fully enjoyed daily by our customers. Thankful for all our customers with trusting us at KTDB to help bring their vision to life.

Custom built-in cabinets we recently completed for a local interior designer and GC. Simple and effective way to conceal appliances for a multi-use guest bathroom/ laundry room. Tight fit but correct clearances of all components which allows everything to function as intended. The walnut top was spayed in a durable clear coat to withstand wet clothes and the daily wear and tear accompanied with daily laundry tasks. Deep dovetail drawers for easy reach detergents/fabric softeners with tall upper cabinets to stow away extra towels and linens.

Huge custom built-in wardrobe closet and makeup vanity niche we just finished building in the shop and installing for a local GC and interior designer. Maple interiors with white oak shelving, vanity top, and dovetail drawers. The interior designer specified the reeded fronts on the vanity drawers to tie in and match with another adjacent built-in (previously posted) to complete this primary bedroom. Due to the intersection of varying sloped dormer ceilings we kept the crown molding just shy of full height and enclosed the top to create a shadow line.
