🚗🐾 Who’s headed out of town for the weekend?!

How does your dog ride in the car? Whether you’re heading up north, hitting the lake, or just cruising around town, keeping your pup safe while traveling is just as important as keeping yourself safe.

We LOVE our RuffLand Kennels for exactly that reason! 🙌 Our dogs spend plenty of time on the road during Transport, and having everyone safely secured in their own crate gives us peace of mind while we get them from Point A to Point B.

Adventure is more fun when everyone gets there safely. 🐶🚙

All that learning really takes it out of you! 😂 Wishing all the kids, teachers, parents—and pups adjusting to their new routines—the best of luck with their first days back at school this week! ✏️🍎

And if your pup needs a little daycare school of their own while the kids are back in class, we’ve got you covered! 🐾 Between playtime, training, enrichment, and practicing those everyday manners, there’s plenty of learning happening here too. 🎓🐶

Every dog seems to have that one ball they’ll choose over all the others — tennis ball, squeaky ball, Chuckit, soccer ball… or apparently the real deal.

Monday flying by? 🌸🐾

We know it’s the first day back to school for many kids, but don’t forget to slow down and stop and smell the flowers on this very summer-like day. ☀️🌼

Oscar did just that during training this weekend — because even on a training day, there’s always time to take in the world around you.

🐾 Playgroups aren’t one-size-fits-all — and they definitely aren’t one-size only.

Big dogs with big dogs and little dogs with little dogs might seem like the obvious way to build a playgroup, but size is only one small piece of the puzzle.

We look at play style, confidence, energy level, communication, boundaries, and personality when deciding which dogs belong together. Sometimes that means two 70-pound dogs are a terrible match — while a tiny puppy and a big dog end up being exactly what each other needs. 😂

Good socialization isn’t just giving dogs access to other dogs. It’s creating opportunities for them to practice appropriate communication, respect boundaries, adjust their play, and learn when it’s time to turn the energy up — or bring it back down.

Our staff is constantly watching those interactions and adjusting groups based on the dogs in front of us that day.

Because the goal isn’t simply to make dogs tired.

It’s to help them become better dogs around other dogs. ❤️
