I'm thrilled to reveal my first Angelman jewelry design! A Tibetan silver angel wing pendant with lava bead and matching earrings that embodies hope and resilience. The unique aspect of lava beads is that you can add a drop of essential oil to them, and they gently release fragrance throughout the day! $12 for the necklace, $18 for the set. The last time I was active on this page I was about a month pregnant with my son Bjorn. He’s 14 months old now, and more beautiful than anything I could create with paint and canvas.

I stopped making art after I got pregnant, and have looked at my unsold artwork hanging on the walls of an unused room as a failed artistic business venture. Recently, I have started viewing it as a potential springboard into a fundraising venture that could help cure a rare genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome.

Bjorn was diagnosed with AS a month ago after he started missing milestones at 6 months old. AS symptoms include developmental delays, seizures, sleep problems, a lack of speech, problems with balance and coordination, and a happy demeanor. Every angel is different, and Bjorn has been making leaps and strides in therapy. His motivation to improve, and his playful, loving outlook inspire me everyday.

Going forward, I am going to donate 50% of artwork sales to FAST-the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics. The other half will be invested into creating a Angelman themed jewelry line that will continue to benefit those with Angelman Syndrome.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to open my Shopify page back up, but I’ll be posting artwork and jewelry for sale in the next few days. Also, I’f you see something you like that in my past posts, message me, and I can tell you if it’s still available!
