☀️ "I don't know how you do vendor events in this heat."

I hear that one a lot. 😅

The truth is, there are a few reasons I keep showing up.

First, I work from home. Most of my week is spent making products, packing orders, updating my website, creating labels, and working behind the scenes. Vendor events are my excuse to get outside, enjoy some sunshine, and spend a day away from my work table.

Second, I genuinely love what I make.

There is something special about watching someone pick up a soap, feel a blanket, or tell me how much they enjoyed something they purchased before. Sharing what I create with others never gets old.

But honestly?

My favorite part is the people.

Over the years I've met some incredible vendors, organizers, and customers who have become familiar faces. There are events where it feels like a yearly reunion, and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

Events like Upper Cumberland Pride and Kraftucky are more than vendor events to me. They're communities. They're traditions. They're a chance to reconnect with people who have supported Wanda's Creations from the beginning.

So yes, it's hot.

Yes, it's a lot of work.

But it's also sunshine, community, laughter, friendship, and doing something I love.

And that's worth it. 💚

🌈 Year 4. 💚

Some vendor events are just events.

This one is a tradition.

Four years ago, I packed up my products and attended my very first Pride Festival. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I left with a full heart, wonderful memories, and a little girl who had the absolute time of her life.

Since then, Upper Cumberland Pride has become one of our favorite annual traditions.

Most events require I leave long before sunrise, so my daughter doesn't get to attend many of them with me. But this one is different. We get to spend the day together, enjoy the festivities, meet amazing people, and celebrate a community built on love, acceptance, and belonging.

So here's to Year 4. 🌈

I'll be bringing a selection of Wanda's Creations favorites, including handcrafted soaps, facial steams, body care, hair rituals, and more.
