Carpet tested by rhinos?!? 🦏

If you want a carpet that can stand up to heavy traffic, stains, pets, kids, and all the chaos of everyday life, Mohawk SmartStrand Forever Clean is the perfect choice!

Mohawk created SmartStrand using an innovative fiber called Triexta, which is designed to be more durable, stain resistant, and easier to clean than traditional carpet fibers like nylon or polyester. Unlike many carpets, the stain protection is built directly into the fiber itself instead of just being applied as a surface treatment.

To put it to the ultimate test, Mohawk installed SmartStrand carpet in the enclosure of 1.5 ton Ricko the Rhino at the Birmingham Zoo for two weeks. After all that traffic and mess, the carpet was able to be completely cleaned with no staining and no crushing of the fibers.

They later tested it again at the Dallas Zoo against rhinos, giraffes, elephants, and camels, ending up with the same incredible results. 🦒🐘
