This day always brings me an empty feeling inside. I remember what I was doing when the first plane flew into the building . We had someone bring in a tv and we all huddled around and watched the 2nd plane and then the towers collapse. We huddled around that tiny tv in the conference room and nothing else mattered. Our hearts broke. We just prayed.

We went and gave blood because it was so desperately needed and then we came together as a country like never before!

Today, let us reflect on the power of unity and hope. We may have been shaken, but we were not defeated. We stood together in the face of adversity, and we continue to do so today.
