I am so very excited to announce the first of line of in- house brand yanrs!

Many of you have had experience with Bamboo. Its amazingly soft but it tends to grow to a point where you can not use what you mde with it. We also love the look and feel of Silk but the price tag makes your heart skip a beat.

Let me introduce a solution! Elegance is a perfect balance of Silk and Bamboo, fused together with todays technoligy to prevent growing. Toss in a touch of Cashmere to soften the shine to a beautiful satin finish and you have a yarn you won't be able to stop touching.

An average large summer garment with sleves will require about 5 balls. I am running an introductory sale.

Hello Friends!

I have missed you all so much! I am happy to announce a new schedule starting 8/4/2026! This is a direct reflection of your requests and support. Thank you for loving yarn and each other! If we have people here for Open Stitch on Thursdays we will stay open until 8PM on an as needed basis.

Updated Hours!

We are expanding our hours for the season starting Tuesday March 24th. Please note our retail hours will be changing to the following:

Sunday Closed

Sock it 2 me reschedule announcement

Hello friends!

 Tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month and would typically be our socket to me Saturday. While I’m excited to be getting home from a two week long trip it appears it won’t be until three or 4 AM in the morning. And efforts to make our visit more pleasant and have your yarn guide to choose from I am postponing our socket to be Saturday until next Saturday from 10 o’clock to noon for our special secret sauce and from noon to two for open stitch so we can help you with any questions tricks or problems you may have on that difficult pair of socks.

Are you ready for the next Sock-it-2-Me meeting? It’s coming up Saturday after Next on March 7th, and we can’t wait to see you!

Below is the monthly Photo for the new Sock color. It’s going to be cherry red to match the hood with dark smoky gray and burgundy to match the night sky. There may also be a little surprise with a dye technique I don’t use very often to add the moon.

Meeting attendees get first choice and THIS month you will also get a 10% discount on all sock yarns!

We meet from 10:00 to Noon for the informative portion of the free class. We will be reviewing different options for toe shaping. Then from noon to 2 we have open stitch with feee help and lessons.

Again, we can’t wait to see your smiling face and hand knit socks. Bring in what you finished and every pair will enter you into a drawing for a grand price at the end of the year!

This photo was taken about 80 miles east of Rapid City SD, traveling west on highway 90. The crescent moon was playing peek-a-boo in the purple and burgundy clouds. When it would show itself it was bright enough to reflect off the hood of the Semi.
