If you're looking for something fun to keep the kids entertained during these rainy days, why not try Japanese marbling? Suminagashi (墨流し), which translates to "floating ink," is the ancient Japanese art of paper marbling. Originating as early as the 12th century, it involves floating sumi ink on the surface of plain water to create unique, swirling patterns that are then gently lifted onto paper or fabric. Fun for kids and adults! If you buy a kit, I'll give you a quick demonstration in store on how to do it! It's super easy and fun 😄🎨
