It’s officially been THREE YEARS of Miranda at Milagro!!! 🥹❤️
And because she was part of the Milagro story long before she was ever on the payroll… I think a little trip down memory lane is in order.
Before Miranda ever worked for Milagro, she was my personal style icon. Literally anything she had in her house, on her body, etc, I wanted.
Fun fact: Miranda convinced me to buy the very first modern Oushak we ever sold. I remember asking her, “Are you SURE people are going to want a pastel rug?” And just like that, Margaret was born.
Back when Milagro was just a baby, she was already buying rugs, posting about them, and telling everyone she knew to shop with me. Unpaid marketing department since day one.
If you’ve been around since 2020, you might remember when Miranda graciously agreed to teach us all how to style our bookshelves on Instagram Live. We drank Pinot Grigio, styled some shelves, and called it content. Honestly, we were ahead of our time.
For YEARS I begged Miranda to come help me. Social media, styling, literally anything. I was relentless. She was not interested.
& then, as if rejecting all my job offers wasn’t enough, she decided to LEAVE ME FOR HOUSTON. The audacity.
Three years ago, I finally posted a job opening. WEEKS went by, tons of qualified applicants, and then Miranda casually told me she’d do it. The search was over!!
For reference, this was the state of our marketing department before Miranda. Graphic design was clearly my passion.
And then Miranda took over. I think we can all agree this was a necessary intervention.
Somewhere along the way, she became my right hand in just about everything. Customs, CADs, sourcing, social media, unhinged customer therapy, and approximately 500 other things I couldn’t do without her.
And here we are, three years later. She’s still in Houston, I’m still giving her 47 things to do at once, and somehow she hasn’t quit. A true Milagro miracle. Happy three years to the best (and only) hire I ever made!!! Love you, mean it. 💋
