What a great day!! 1st Cookoff of the year for us, we are very thankful to have had Cristian join us at the VFW_Post_8905_Cypress, TX Cookoff this weekend. While we will always miss Ray, Cristian was able to partake in today’s turn ins:
1st place in Ribs 🏆
6th in Chicken 🙌
Placed in Brisket 😋
✨Overall we took 4th place between all the teams.

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved friend and Rub’em Out Kookerz teammate and brother, Ramon “Ray” Flores, on September 10th, 2024.

Memories of our loved one are precious, and the time to recall those memories is now, come share those with his children, family and many friends as we say good bye to him. Please join us as we celebrate a life well lived and honor Ray. Friday, September 20th, 2024 at Garden Oaks Funeral Home located on 13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083 from 4pm to 8pm.

First and foremost thanks to the big man above. Also thank you to all our family and friends that came out to support. It was a beautiful wknd for a cookoff. Not what we expected but we got a couple of calls. We ended up with a 4th ribs, 6th chicken and a no call in the cow 🤷‍♂️. But we did end up with a 1st place open division. WHOOP WHOOP!!!!
