Texas is a disaster so here’s some pretty flowers to take your mind off the state of the world.
My dear friend husband surprised her with this lovely piece for Valentine’s Day. They’ve been married about five years and through new jobs, moving to a new state, buying a house, family drama, having a baby and all of life’s big and small challenges, they’ve stood by one another.
Marriage is no joke and not for the faint of heart. It’s a choice to do life with someone. To take on the world together and be team mates always. It’s learning to love, appreciate and accept another person for exactly who they are. It’s allowing yourself to be vulnerable and expose the parts of yourself you’ve always been afraid to show. It can be challenging but how wonderful it is to have a companion to witness your life.
Cheers 🥂to all the couples out there choosing one another every day, enjoying the little things, and navigating this crazy world together!

Another lovely bouquet💐 for the anniversary of one of my favorite couples! Their relationship is something to aspire to. They’re supportive and romantic. 💝Respectful and communicative. They laugh 😹 and make jokes and best of all, they’re constantly surprising one another with little gifts 🎁 and elaborate plans. Take notes y’all. and .mtz from know how to keep it fresh! 💖 you both!

As much as you want your day to be perfect, we all know sh*t happens. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe your flowers were wrong. Maybe your dress needed a last minute alteration. 🪡 Maybe the air conditioning was broken just before the reception. 🥵Maybe the groom forgot the rings in another city, four hours away. (All actual happenings at friends’ weddings 🙊) Maybe your hair and make up didn’t turn out the way you planned and you didn’t love your wedding day ~look~.
That’s what happened with . She felt she didn’t look her best on her special day and wanted to remember her wedding with something other than just old pictures. I tried my best to capture her traditional and sophisticated bouquet and I think we can call this a success!
Despite disruptions and mishaps, most weddings still end up being the best day ever. 💃🏼 Sometimes you just want a little something else to mark your wedding. That’s where I come in! I think my favorite thing about embroidering wedding keepsakes is capturing a bride’s or couple’s personality. This bouquet was inspired by the couple’s home towns, their current home 👩‍❤️‍👨🏡, their neon wedding sign, 🎆 the flowers from their intimate Midwest summer wedding 🌸 and the tropical foliage of Puerto Rico🌺 where they will have their big celebration next summer. There’s even a purple rose 💜 to mark the flowers the groom sent on their wedding day. So cute, right?!

It’s Foster Friday! Meet ! 🐶 She had to get in on a recent embroidery photo shoot. 📷 She’s been with us for almost a year and would love to spend the holidays 🎄🎁 with her forever humans!
She is house and crate trained. Walks nicely on a leash. Knows commands like sit, stay, down, paw, go to your place and leave it. She’s super smart 🧠 and sassy 💁🏼. She keeps us laughing with her silly antics and attitude. She prefers a home without cats or young children and would love a big backyard! 🏡

I haven’t been doing that much stitching lately because I was finishing up my master’s thesis. This past Saturday was the final culmination of two and a half years of hard work. I am now a Master of Education! 👩🏼‍🎓

To capture a moment in time from the most wonderful day of someone’s life is truly an honor. Thank you to for trusting me to turn her gorgeous bouquet into a special keepsake.
And thank you to my parents for letting me use their beautiful suburban backyard for a little photo shoot ☺️
