Nice Custom Goods Nice Custom Goods is handmade and made to last. Buy the kinds of things you can pass down. He made one, which he still wears to this day.

Nice Custom Goods was born from a desire to own a well made, leather belt. Discovering that most belts were poorly made, Tyler Newberry set out to make a real belt that would last a lifetime. His friends wanted one, too. Belts were just the start, though. Having inherited his grandfather’s tools, he had an epiphany – “I want to buy, or make, the kinds of things that my grandkids will want to inherit.” Useful things. Things you can carry into the woods, or the office. Ordinary things that will last. Tyler is known for the items you see here, but there are many more. If you have a need for custom made, one-of-a-kind piece, do not hesitate to start the conversation. He has made something to fit just about any request, from playing card cases for magicians, to vintage guitar straps. Nice Custom Goods is based in South Houston, Texas. Tyler Newberry has three children with his wife, Leslianne. They have two cats, Carmel & Sugar.

This one started it all. The Porter is a side table cut from a single sheet of 10-gauge mild steel. The profile is simple: a square body with an arc cut from the base, which does two things: it lifts the table visually and gives it a silhouette that draws you in from across the room. The finish is raw mild steel sealed with natural wax, which means the mill scale stays intact.

It works next to a chair, beside a sofa, at the end of a bed. The top is flat and generous; 18” every direction.

Available in any powder coat color if raw steel isn’t your finish.

Available now. Link to the store in the bio.
