A few of my reels have been picked up by the Facebook algorithm lately and boy oh boy… people are just different over there 🤪

So much unsolicited (and occasionally VERY wrong) advice and criticism

Guys, I’m just a girl playing with mud in my garage… and occasionally making something cute while I’m at it

I may not know everything, but I DO know what I’m doing… for the most part 😄

At the end of the day, it’s literally just a lump of mud. It’s not that serious. Let’s have some fun, cheer each other on, and spread a little positivity instead 🫧

Cheers to the inpatient potters 🍷
12 lb bowl, 8 lb plate, about 4 hours of throwing, trimming, and carving.
Did I learn anything? Nope, I’ll probably rush bisque again in few months 🤪

12 lbs- it was exactly as quick and easy as you can see in the video 💯 (not!)
I’m taking a break from in person events until October, so I finally have time to work on a few larger decorative plates, statement bowls, and funky vases. This is as big as I can fit into my kiln, but fall semester at Glassell School of Art is about start back up, so soon I’ll attempt something even larger. Wish me luck!

Here’s my attempt at making content from last weekend. I recorded kiln opening and bonus of cleaning up glaze drips from Advancer Kiln Shelves Advancer shelves. This is the best I could do with clips I’ve actually recorded 🤪 it’s safe to say becoming a pottery influencer is not in my future.

Ah, and wear gloves when dealing with glaze shards kids. Be smarter than me. It’s way too easy to cut your fingers (ask me how I know!).
