A life-sized Dragon is my first commissioned project that involves Wood Carving. The Dragon will encircle the bottom bunk of a bunk bed I'm building for a Make-A-Wish child in my community.

I'm working in Basswood, which is easy to shape and lightweight. Essential attributes for a project of this scale.

From a standing tree in my yard to a weathered outdoor rocker, and now—back to its original glory!

This White Oak Adi-rocker-dack chair has a lot of history. After two years facing the elements, it had turned gray and a little rough. I took it out to the driveway for a deep sanding and a fresh coat of finish to bring it back to almost new and to preserve this heirloom piece for a long life.
