It is such a joy to transform living spaces that positively impact the daily lives of my clients! This remodel should be named “ Beg, borrow, and steal”- I begged to use square footage from their bedroom, borrowed the space of an unused closet, and stole a linen closet in order to create a enough room for a suitable ( and to code) primary bathroom. The before and after photos say it all.
I found a stunning marble slab and chose tile based on that slab. My clients loved the Ivy mosaic pattern from Artistic Tile and so I featured it in the shower. My wonderful cabinet maker from Craftsman Woodworks took my drawings and made them into beautiful cabinets that are finished in White Flour by Sherwin-Williams. The great construction crew from J Hood were on point at each step as we locked down walls, built new ones, and created a perfect retreat for my clients.
To complement the beautiful countertop and tile , I chose a lovely pale aqua for the walls (Benjamin Moore’s Lookout point). I selected this color quite intentionally due to the fact that a windowless bathroom can feel like a cave. I believe that it is important to feel a sense of light and space in a completely interior room.
Beautiful plumbing fixtures from Crosswater feature a polished nickel finish whose warmth compliments the tile and countertop. Lovely cabinet hardware from TopKnobs finishes off the space.
