I recently went out of town for 10 days and came back to this magic.

I was lucky enough to have friends that were willing to come by and water my garden, which is quite a lot of work and I am so appreciative. What’s crazy to me is that in 10 days with just some water and sun all of this growth can happen.

And again, I want to reiterate that gardening is the coolest darn thing!

Side note: if you think my dress looks stupid, you are correct in that feeling. I realized while Dave and I were making dinner last night that I had been wearing it backwards the entire time I was gardening. 🫠

Happy 10 YEAR anniversary to the love of my life. 13 years together and 10 years married and it feels like it’s flown by. One lifetime doesn’t feel like enough time, especially when it’s moving this fast.

Things I love about Dave:
He’s always unapologetically himself.
He swiftly stands up for injustice.
He’s brilliant and a wealth of knowledge.
He’s an amazing dog dad, always putting them first.
He blindly believes in his abilities and can seemingly do anything.
He’s hilarious. No one has ever made me laugh the way he does.
He’s the best travel companion.
He gives me unwavering support in all things in life.

I love you so much, 🩵 There’s no one else I ever want to spend life with. You’re end game, baby!

[gifted] Well, that escalated quickly. One day you’re staying up late and having a ruckus and the next you’re tending your garden early in the morning with curlers in your hair. My new raised beds really kicked my granny life into high gear and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I quite enjoy going to bed early with tea and a good book. I love bird watching and foraging. Most of all, I love checking my raised beds every morning to see what changed. I swear the garden looks different every time I blink.
