We replaced the old wooden ladder with a full motorized aluminum staircase, then added a 200 lb capacity attic lift so the homeowner can raise and lower bins with the push of a button.
The attic also had very limited usable space, so we installed twenty 4-foot rows of decking along the sides to create solid storage aisles between the truss webs.
No more climbing a rickety ladder with boxes in your hands. Just walk up the stairs or send the lift up.
