I love site visits and seeing projects take shape. Our Spanish revival rebuild in Alta Dena is coming along beautifully. The upstairs bonus room has a perfect view of the downtown skyline. This space was an afterthought but just might be one of the best rooms in the house.

What do you collect? I have a thing for vintage whiskey decanters.

Our Tudor Revival bathroom is coming along nicely.
This house has so much character and soul. The remodeled bathroom had to fit in and feel like it could be original. Check out some progress photos and a couple of the home’s existing details.

Before and afters of our Belmont Shore project.

This long, narrow two-story house had undergone several additions over the decades, leaving the first floor living space dark and compartmentalized.

Our clients worked with an architect several years prior to explore options for opening up the space and making it warmer, brighter and more inviting. What came of it were plans for a wide open space that lacked focus and purpose.

They came to us to explore if it was possible to find a middle ground. By keeping one side of a back-to-back fireplace as an anchor, we were able to create a living space for watching TV and a separate dining/game table space connected by an open kitchen.

To maximize light, we installed taller French doors and used a warm palette of European walnut flooring, light cabinetry, and furnishings in navy, taupe, and brown.

Front door Friday! The 1929 Spanish Revival is one of our newest projects. Still in the planning phase, but lots of good things to come. Swipe to see some of my favorite existing details (that we’re absolutely preserving).

More of our sunny 50’s kitchen ☀️

The home was built in 52and had some renovations in the 70’s. Although the space was quirky and kinda cute, it lacked storage and work space. Our goal was to open the space, make it more functional and bring back that 50’s flair. The radius shelf is my favorite. How about you?
