Mary has been actively involved in the interior design and home furnishings industry for twenty seven years, formerly as a designer with two local, and at that time, established design firms. Mary Moffat Jones Interiors was founded in 1997 and moved in 1998 to the business site they occupied at 541 9th Street for the following seventeen years. This business grew and expanded rapidly in the field o

f design for residential and commercial projects. The loyal clientele developed in these years accorded the opportunity for the firm to represent some of the most skilled and successful design projects in the area becoming known as a premiere design and retail source. Numerous articles featuring Mary Moffat Jones Interiors have appeared in the Huntington Quarterly Magazine and other statewide magazines publications, The Herald-Dispatch newspaper and on local television stations. The Rotary Club of Huntington's Beautification Commitee chose Mary Moffat Jones Interiors as Recipient of its Beautification Award and Huntington Quarterly named the business to be one of Huntington's "Most Unique". Her social associations include the Junior League of Huntington and P.T.A. Kate Jones joined Mary Moffat Jones Interiors in 1997 and became Showroom Manager in 1998 at the 541 9th Street location. She plays a major part in all aspects of the business including design projects, buying and showroom management. Kate was a vital partner in the decision to relocate and a great reason for the success of this firm. One of her most important assets is her ability to communicate and work with the public and clients one-on-one. She is the mother of two young daughters, Liza Kate and Mary Moffat.
