Nature and Design Align.

We live interesting times. When I create these posts, I was used to placing an image in search and I would get information on the designer. Now AI was giving me educational information on the space ( this is a living room with vibrant colors along with some traditional elements…) and offered at least 5 places I could purchase the plant and look-alike chair. I had to prompt it several times on who designed the space and even then, it was not an easy retrieval.
I don’t blame AI. It’s a program that learns from what it is asked. It worries me that people are more interested in how they can potentially recreate this look on their own and buy sporadic elements themselves. Not because they are trying to circumvent the designer, I am well aware that hiring a designer is not the solution for everyone. But that the result is going to be homes full of disposable and poor quality offerings ( the suggestions for purchase were garbage furniture ) that don’t suit the home or the occupants. Search-click to purchase is not interior design.
