Every stitch has a story, and these two are where mine began. 🧵🤍

These two little beauties will always hold such a special place in my heart because they were the beginning of something I never imagined I’d love so much.

Looking back at them now, I can see just how far I’ve come! From learning how to piece fabrics together, to perfecting my seams, quilting, and all those tiny finishing details, my sewing has grown with every project.

Are they perfect? Not quite. But that’s part of what makes them so special. Every imperfect stitch taught me something, and every new creation has helped me grow a little more confident in this sweet craft.

What started as a little creative adventure has blossomed into something so meaningful. My hope is that every Heirloom Scripture Tote I make becomes a treasured piece that carries God’s Word and a little handmade love for years to come. 🤍

Here’s to humble beginnings, growing in the gifts God gives us, and remembering that beautiful things take time.

Inspired by the timeless femininity and playful spirit of Dolly Parton, Darlin’ Dolly is dressed in pretty pink patchwork, delicate ruffles, an oversized satin bow, and the sweetest little beaded charm. 💝

This one-of-a-kind beauty was lovingly handcrafted for my best friend to gift to one of her son’s teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! 🎀 There’s something so special about creating a meaningful gift for someone who pours so much love, patience, and dedication into shaping little hearts and minds.💕

A larger take on my original Scripture Tote — designed with more room for all the things you carry, while keeping that same sweet, one-of-a-kind heirloom feel.

For this one, I wanted to have a little fun and make it feel like something you might have stumbled across tucked away in your grandmother’s closet. 🤍 I pieced together different florals, soft blues and blush tones intentionally a little crooked and imperfect, letting the seams and patterns wander instead of trying to make everything perfectly symmetrical. The goal was for it to feel collected, handmade, and genuinely vintage — like a well-loved quilt given a brand-new life.

I finished it with delicate ivory lace, a rich burgundy satin-wrapped handle, and personalized embroidery, adding just enough detail without taking away from the patchwork.

It’s larger than my Scripture Totes, with room for your Bible plus notebooks, study materials, a tablet, everyday essentials, or whatever you need to carry along.

No two will ever be exactly alike — and that’s kind of the point. 🪡🤎

𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒄… 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕. 🪡✨

This one took a little faith in the process.

Traditionally, embroidery is done on smooth, unquilted fabric so the design has a flat, even surface to stitch into. But for this piece, I wanted something different—I wanted the embroidery to sit over the quilting, letting both textures become part of the finished design.

Which also meant I had to quilt it first… and trust that I wasn’t about to ruin a perfectly good piece of fabric when I moved it over to the embroidery machine. 😂

There’s a completely different look depending on the order: embroider first and quilt around it for a cleaner, more traditional finish—or quilt first and embroider over those stitches for added texture, dimension & a little more character.

I chose character. 🥀

And watching that embroidery lay beautifully over all that texture was one of those okayyy, trust the process moments.

That’s what I love about handmade—sometimes the best part is trying something a little differently and having faith that the idea in your head is going to translate once it’s under the needle.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠:

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍 | 𝑯𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒐𝒕𝒆 🩵

Sometimes the sweetest creations are the ones you never really planned.

My first 𝑯𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒐𝒕𝒆 came to life when I made one for a neighbor. It was simply a special project—something beautiful and handmade to carry and protect her Bible. But when one of her church friends saw it, she reached out wanting something just as meaningful, created especially for a friend of hers. She saw something handmade with love and thought of someone she loved—and there is something really special about that. 🤍

And from that request came 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍. 🩵

Soft blue and butter-yellow florals were pieced together into a quilted, vintage-inspired design, finished with delicate lace and an oversized blue satin bow. Across the front is embroidered 1 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝟔:𝟔: “𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.”

Every detail was chosen to make this feel like more than a Bible tote. I wanted it to feel like an heirloom—something feminine and beautiful that protects the most treasured book we own, while carrying a little piece of its message on the outside.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍 was thoughtfully designed for both beauty and function. Inside, I added a newly designed reinforced fabric layer to give the tote extra structure and protection, along with a built-in pen holder to keep your favorite Bible pen or highlighter close at hand. Each 𝑯𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒐𝒕𝒆 also includes a coordinating handmade bookmark, created from the same beautiful fabrics so every detail feels intentional from the inside out. 🩵

These pieces won’t be about making hundreds of identical totes. I want each 𝑯𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒐𝒕𝒆 to have its own personality, fabrics, details, and story—something that feels thoughtfully made for the person who will carry it.

So, meet 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍—one of the first pieces in this new chapter of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐳𝐳𝐳𝐲 𝐂𝐨. 🩵🌼

All glory to God. 💜 This new chapter wouldn’t be here without Him.

I never really gave up on this business—I just stopped prioritizing this hobby for a while. I went on new adventures, grew with my family, and prayed about where I wanted to take my creative hobbies in this season of life.

When I started The Cozzzy Co. five years ago, I literally woke from a dead sleep with a dream to create and start a business—all while I was in the thick of getting my real estate license.

Fast forward five years, and life looks a whole lot different. I’m homeschooling two precious boys, working in real estate, serving my church and community when I can, coaching sports, and trying to be the wife and mama my husband and boys deserve. 💜

Through all of those changes, my faith has grown deeper too. And I truly feel like the Lord has been pulling me back to this creative part of myself—but with a completely different perspective.

So, I’m gracefully revamping The Cozzzy Co. to fit the life I have now. 🧵

Not with pressure to constantly produce, grow, or turn every hobby into a hustle—but with the freedom to create things I love and use the gifts God has given me.

The Cozzzy Co. will look a little different this time around—from Bible holders & covers and clothing, to baby caddies, wipe pouches, blankets, photography prop cocoons & nests, specialty cushions, marine vinyl upholstery, and whatever other special projects find their way to my sewing table.

The Lord has reshaped my perspective on what success needs to look like for me. I don’t need this business to take over my life for it to have purpose.

I want to build this business around the beautiful life God has already given me—not build my life around a business—while preserving and protecting my greatest priority: my children’s childhood.

Here’s to a slower, sweeter, more intentional chapter of The Cozzzy Co.—creating with purpose, working with my hands, and trusting God with wherever He takes it from here. 💜🧵

Day 5 into the New Year…🥳

We’re adapting, learning, & having fun over here at The Cozzzy Co.! To kick off a new year we decided for NEW changes…moving forward we will be exclusively selling baby accessories: cocoons and nests! 🪹

Now that doesn’t mean we won’t take the occasional blanket order (we’ll have to work together to decide style & color). 🤗 We’re shifting a focus on teaching classes knitting blankets and leaving room to grow into a more manageable and exclusive collection of accessories not easily found elsewhere! 🧶

That being said, soon we’ll have a form setup to submit for a cocoon or nest, color, and material type along with payment method! 🐝🤍

We’re busy bees over here & I cannot thank you all enough for following along with our journey! ✨
